ÅÝܽ¶ÌÊÓÆµ proudly announces the appointment of Dr. Albert Mosley as its 8th President, following a national search that drew 135 applicants. A visionary leader with three decades of experience in higher education and nonprofit leadership, Dr. Mosley brings a deep commitment to academic innovation, institutional growth, and student success.
A first-generation college student from Shuqualak, Mississippi, Dr. Mosley holds degrees from Millsaps College, Duke, Yale, and the University of Georgia. Most recently, he served as President of Morningside University in Iowa, where he launched cutting-edge programs in aviation, cybersecurity, AI, and more—while also securing record-breaking philanthropic support.
“It’s an extraordinary honor to be selected as the 8th President of the GREAT ÅÝܽ¶ÌÊÓÆµ,” Dr. Mosley said. “I look forward to partnering with our entire Wildcat community to build on the powerful legacy of Dr. Mary McLeod Bethune and shape an inspiring future for B-CU.”
Board Chairman Pete Gamble called Dr. Mosley’s journey “a powerful reflection of the transformational impact we strive to deliver.” His presidency begins July 7.
